Some pics of the Halloween show at Beat Kitchen thanks to Stacey: (click for full size)

Thanks to everyone who came out to Beat Kitchen last night to see us and the other wonderful, whimsical, sometimes wacky Halloween acts. As you may know, Alissa was out of town, and Christopher did an excellent job of filling in on bass, especially on such short notice. Special thanks to Matt who booked the show and Brad the sound guy. Your professionalism and competence were a real treat to a group used to playing dives for surly club owners. Hello to our friends, new and old, and thanks for stopping by the site.

We did announce that our show at Gunther Murphy's next month will be 50 Ft. Queenie's final appearance for an indeterminate amount of time. Shaun has decided to follow other pursuits, musical as well as personal. As the founding member of the band, he has been hugely influential to our musical careers, and will be fondly missed. Discussions are underway to start a search for a new drummer and continue in the direction of writing music influenced by PJ, Pixies, punk, and polka (OK, not polka so much).

So please be sure to stop by Gunther Murphy's on Thursday, 11/18 at where we will be joined by Ascot Fire and Hello. I'm Victor.
