8 artists from toronto and la are switching places for 1½ weeks. they are men and women of different ethnic backgrounds, builds, and lifestyles who will eat, dress, work, and play according to a set of instructions provided by their “exchange” partner. the organizer of this performance project, michael mandiberg (who last year set up an online store in which each of his possessions was for sale), has posted instructions for “playing” the role of himself. more documentation is to follow the conclusion of the project.
