the other whitney biennial. miltos manetas has created an “unofficial shadow exhibit/digital event” in reaction to the whitney’s spring exhibit at http://www.whitneybiennial.com/ with open-source flash objects by artists like mark amerika, dj.spooky, and digital sisters indeed. manetas will be in chicago to speak at the version>02 digital arts festival at the mca in april.
