in august, 25 media artists and activists visited an old kgb satellite dish in latvia currently being converted for civilian use. they used it to record noises, spy on mobile phones, and scan the sun. so far the coolest thing that’s come out of it is a spacelab remix of the russian top ten house hit ‘kisloty dj.’
